Madness

only week 0 and its already madness. Overbooked, in a way... but not, I'm just not used to it. Thank goodness there's no real hw yet or I would seriously be pulling all nighters.

Video Day

That's David Crowder. Kewl song. Maybe I can get a gig playing electric violin for some band.

Why does he play guitar when you can't hear it anyways?

Music tag

So I was reading all these taggers seeing them tagged and I was like, "I want to get tagged!" But then I realized I had been tagged. By Liao, the elder. But he wrote me Mandarin Chinese Name, which I misread as "Howie." I thought he was tagging Howard.

It's all indie. That's all i Listen to now. But its free and excellent (purevolume.com.). I'm not addictted to any song:

1) Scary Kids Scaring Kids - the City Sleeps in Flames (fav rock song as of now)
2) Bedlight for Blueeyes Leaving Berkeley Heights (rock)
3) Ben Kweller - Wasted And Ready (rock)
4) Hawthorne Heights - Ohio is for lovers (Screamo emo rock)
5) Allstar Otis - Angst Into Energy (punk)

I like rock and indie.

Cool pic. Teles and tons of pedals.

Looking at a lot of pro rigs. Common pedals: Rats, tube screamers, Line 6 delay, boss tuners. About half of them use the boutique stuff, half don't. Of course they have techs and really nice gear in front and back of their effects...

Tell you friends to buy a used Rat.

Blog Ads

Since when did little evil robots start posting ads for viagra in bloggers. My, blogger sucks. So I went to LA for an auditon and it was pointless as all auditions are. Well i did fine, but I still considered it a waste of time. But to say that it's pointless is not true, because if I get in, the audition served it's purpose and I have additional funds for food.

Other than that I got my new pedal. It sounds like Krispy Kreme in a metal box. Yummy!! Barberelectronics.com. The Direct Drive! It's so awesome. I'm sold over to Boo-tEEK pedals. More update later.

Retro clothing

I was wearing my retro blazer today, and James (4th, 5th grader?) says to me:

"Why are you.. wearing a tuxedo?!"

"A ha, a ha. It's not a tuxedo. It's a suit jacket."

"Oh," then he slapped my elbow like he was an old pal. What a funny bloke.

Relient k owned

At this very moment, Relient K is getting owned in my ears.

"Never heard of It - Hard Headed"

Sounds like RK but better. Now all you serious music listeners, don't kill me. I still listen to real music.

Pick up artist

So I waited in line for a long time at Michaels because the woman in front of me was buying like 20 pinecones (each having to be scanned by the machine), so while I was waiting I saw this girl working at the next counter who looked like an attractive version of lucy liu. And I would have gone over there to her, say hi, and crack a phun joke, but alas: I'm no slimey, dirty, grubby, loser pick-up artist. And I'm glad not to be one!!

Michaels is too crowded.

Dad

Dad was singing some lyrics about "you don't know what you got." I probed, asked if it was sung by a girl... he was singing a Counting Crows song he heard at the gym and didn't know what it was.

Never heard my dad sing commercial, modern music before.
