Girls?

I really want to set some of my old posts on private, but I'm not sure if blogger has that option. Anyways, what I would like to write as a disclaimer is that most of what I wrote before was in extreme ignorance of the female gender. It's kind of funny to read what I wrote. I was dumb. I'm trying to learn though.

I read this girl book and it was really helpful. If you are interested I will lend it to you. it's a Christian book about sanctification and I think it is helpful for men as well. A few points I have observed about women-these are general observations:

-woman are concerned with what others think of them to quite some degree.
-they desire appreciation, affection, and acknowledgment from their husbands
-criticism can be very biting and hurtful.
-they want to appear nice and presentable.
-Often they don't need advice or "counsel" during very a difficult crisis, but rather comfort.

and I guess most importantly - Woman are normal human beings, just like men. I think young men forget sometimes that the women we know are ordinary people with real feelings, real needs, and who act like a real person should. Now I wonder, do girls have distorted perceptions on who men are?
