I've had TWO people say that I'm overly obsessed with BoA! In response to the feedback, I'll tell you about my violin stuff instead on my normal BoA babbling.
I had an interesting experience today teaching a new student. The five year old boy was so upset to be learning violin; he avoided me as though I was some evil menace, he kept on wiping his nose, he refused to pick up his violin, he started to cry. For a few moments I really didn't think I could pull the lesson off. Luckily, I had a box of colored pencils nearby. I asked him if he wanted to draw. Without looking at me, he accepted my offer. I figure that the best I could do was to teach his mom while he drew, so she in turn could teach him when he get home. After a few minutes, the boy came up to me to showed me his work: a rainbow, some flowers, a man, and more flowers. Well many minutes later, and after much chiding, his mother and I finally got him to start playing. Now he was willing and ready! In truth, he had previously (i.e. the initial moments of fear) been listening to me, he just chose not to do what I was saying until now!
I'm learning the dance to "Don't Start Now." It's sooooo coooooool. I'll show it to you if you ask-I'm waiting for you to ask.
See? Nothing about BoA today... heh heh.
My writing doesn't have very good "flow."
