LIFE
To my faitful readers:
Sorry I haven't really updated with real content in a long time. I just haven't been motivated to. But now I think it's time you deserved it. Well, actually, no you don't. This is my blog and I can type whatever I want to.
So college life is fine. I would say its 3x less fun than last year. Mostly because your first year in "Big College" (as oppossed to JC), there are a lot of cool people and pretty girls and fun, interesting classes. So first-ly, I am in the apartments now so I meet fewer cool people. Also, I'm taking the same classes (in the next series) that I took allll last year. So it can be quite uninspiring. But this week I prayed and decided to approach school with the best attitude. Also I bought some good snacks with keep me from getting too hungry, and thus improving my mood three fold.
I'm also part of a group called Debut which pays me something like $200 a concert. But this next concert is "Free gig" because it's raising funds so the organization can have more money. But alumni includes John Williams and Michael Tilson Thomas, I believe. Maybe some famous musicians will show up. We're also performing the "Usual Suspects" theme, with the composer conducting. He is so unbelievably bad at conducting, I was amazed. Anyways, we're playing at the Hilton in Bel Air.... Seats to the show are over $300 a pop(food is included). So I'm excited how the place will be set up. I want to see some Bel-Air Rich people. I also want to eat some of that expensive food. Yum Yum Yum.
I'm reading 1Samuel which is interesting. King Saul messes up so quickly, and Samuel annoints David. When I was reading I was like, "What? David is annointed already!? Saul was just getting started?" But that's the way the cookie crumbles, I suppose.
