I just got my Spanish grade back-and get this- I got another big, fat, red, A. Oh yeah! This is actually really strange because I don't enjoy Spanish nearly as much as I do math, but I'm screwing up my math grade!!
Life is so funny.
I think this is because I'm taking Spanish for the mission trip to Mexico, and therefore God is blessing the my Spanish work. On the other hand, I'm taking math for reasons that I still don't understand (for work? YEAH RIGHT), therefore ..yeah, my grade is messed up. Moreover, this is another way for me to see that I'm not that good at math. I take is as a humbling experiance... again.
I've been using email like crazy to organize practices and such. Now I realize how cool email is! Faaaaaaaar OUT.
Remember how I said I found out that I like talking to people? It's so cool-when walking from class to class I'll just stop and make small talk with whichever classmate is passing by. For example, today I to this American Asian person. In just a few minutes I found out her name, that she's half Chinese, and where she works. I'm getting pretty good at this! I think that people always have a lot to say, but they need to first be encouraged to say it. Especially in City College, where people don't socialize as much compared to high school (I assume so, at least), things need to conversationally be shaken up a bit.
Weird, the "Bane" Batman Beyond episode suddenly came to mind. I'm having too many random thoughts today.....
